Sodium Formaldehyde Sulfoxylate (liquid)

Several decades of experience in the field of sulphur-based reducing agents as well as continuous development of our products enable BrueggemannChemical to not only offer established reducing agents as powder or granules but also in a liquid form. Liquid reducing agents facilitate the dosage considerably and improve handling. On the one hand, it is important to adjust the concentration of the solution to a highest possible level in order to reduce transportation cost. On the other hand, the solution must not exceed a certain level to avoid crystallization during transport and storage even at low temperatures.

BrueggemannChemical’s experience in the field of Sodium Formaldehyde Sulfoxylate was the key success factor for finding the best possible compromise between the two requirements. Furthermore, the stability of the solution and the shelf life of the product have been maximized by use of certain additives.

One of the most recent developments is Blancolen®No5, an olfactory improved, liquid reducing agent for the reduction clearing of polyester. The product specific odour has been replaced by a fresher, slightly sweet scent. This is of particular importance for a manual handling in the textile industry.

To fulfill special market demands BrueggemannChemical can offer the liquid form of Sodium Formaldehyde Sulfoxylate in every concentration between 20% and 40%.  Especially for the US-market we recommend a concentration of 35% (L 35).
