Emulsion Polymerization

Radical initiator systems are an essential component of the polymerization in water. Besides peroxides, so called Redox-Systems which contain a reducing agent and an oxidation agent, are crucially important. Since the beginning of the emulsion polymerization, Bruggolite^®E01 is one of the best known reducing agents. Its high reliability and reactivity characterizes this product; it does not cause any discoloration of the polymer and is world-wide utilized in almost all emulsion polymers.

Bruggolite^®FF6 is the first new development since almost 100 years and represents the solution for the increasing requirements of the market towards our customers’ products. The most important characteristics of this product are low levels of residual monomers, a high reactivity, no discoloration of the polymer, FDA approval as well as the absence of formaldehyde.
