Classical Reducing Agents

Developed in 1906, Sodium Formaldehyde Sulfoxylate, also known as SFS, still is one of the most important industrial reducing agents. BrueggemannChemical is the only remained producer of SFS in the Western world and is marketing the product under the trade name Bruggolite®. Besides various Bruggolite® types in solid form, several liquid reducing agents have been developed by BrueggemannChemical which are based on Sodium Formaldehyde Sulfoxylate, too.

Alongside, Sodium Hydrosulfite, also known as Sodium Dithionite, is the second important product of BrueggemannChemical in this market segment.  

The broad application spectrum of both products triggered the development of Special Types based on our experience, in cooperation with our customers to serve their individual needs.
