The original chemical business of the BrueggemannGroup operates under the name BrüggemannChemical which is divided in two business units, namely Industrial Chemicals and Polymer Additives. The headquarters in Heilbronn govern an international sales and marketing network which is supported by subsidiaries in Philadelphia, USA and Hong Kong, China.

In the Western World BrüggemannChemical is the sole manufacturer of Sodium Hyroxymethansulfinat (SFS). As leading producer of organic and sulphur-based reducing agents we offer our customers a broad range of sulfinic acid derivatives (Bruggolite®, including the world wide unique new development Bruggolite®FF6 M) and blends in various packaging forms.

Our manufacturing process is unique and in balance with the manufacturing of our zinc derivatives. The product range of our zinc derivatives goes from direct Zinc Oxides (American process) via indirect Zinc Oxides (French process) to active Zinc Oxides and Zinc Carbonates.

Furthermore, we also hold a strong market position as a producer of polymer additives, which have a high significance for the production of technical thermoplastic materials. Our services range from assistance in individual problem solving, recommendations for formulations, extensive application technology counselling to the execution of chemical syntheses on behalf of our clients. For this, we also solicit the necessary registrations and provide appropriately equipped laboratories and pilot plant stations.

Tailor-made products and application solutions demonstrate our strong customer focus. To achieve an environmentally friendly and sustainable production at our site in Germany, we work with high energy efficiency and low emissions - particular carbon dioxide.

Manufacturer of Additives for Thermoplastics

The business division of polymer additives produces and distributes additives for the application in thermoplastics. The main focus is on specialities for the plastics polyamide and polyester. The wide spread range of products include additives for different demands in the area of engineering plastics. Unique heat stabilizers as well as processing agents and modifiers ensure the success of our business partners worldwide. furthermore BrüggemannChemical offers specialities and services in the field of cas nylons and the special material NYRIM®.
