For 100 years, our redu­cing agents have stood for reli­ab­ility, quality, and progress. What once began as an innov­ative idea has evolved into a global standard. Driven by exper­i­ence and a strong spirit of innov­a­tion, we are shaping the chem­istry of today and tomorrow. Our commit­ment remains unchanged: to create sustain­able solu­tions with real added value.

This year marks an extraordinary mile­stone as we celeb­rate the 100^th anniversary of our Brug­golite^® redu­cing agent´s produc­tion here in Heil­bronn, Germany.

Since 1926, Brügge­mann has success­fully manu­fac­tured and sold Brug­golite^® sulfur based redu­cing agents. Based on Sodium Form­al­de­hyde Sulfoxylate, the first indus­trial chem­ical from Brügge­mann, our devel­op­ment expertise has expanded the applic­a­tion areas where these products enable our customers to improve their products. What began in 1926 as a pion­eering venture has become a global standard.

It is hard to imagine a chem­ical world without any Brug­golite^® redu­cing agents. Whether it´s their role in textile printing, or their essen­tial contri­bu­tion to emul­sion poly­mer­iz­a­tion, Brug­golite^® redu­cing agents have been a silent and reli­able partner in progress for gener­a­tions of chem­ists.                                                                             

While we are proud of our 100-year heritage, we are even more excited about the future ahead of us. Brügge­mann is the first company to offer a sulfur-based form­al­de­hyde free redu­cing agent, Brug­golite^® FF6 M.  Our unique R&D activ­ities continue to develop new, envir­on­ment­ally friendly grades of redu­cing agents that provide addi­tional bene­fits for various applic­a­tions.

We are investing in greener manu­fac­turing, redu­cing carbon foot­prints, ensuring that Brug­golite^® redu­cing agents continue to improve our customer´s mater­ials with added value.
